The Environment 2020 Awards celebrate and promote awareness of energy efficiency as well as activities which help the environment for future generations.
The Awards consist of four categories: Children’s art competition, Self-build, Installation and Specification.

Visit the Environment 2020 Awards site here: where you also be able download entry forms.

The Awards’ Judges

Environmental experts and industry specialists, headed by a leading figure relevant to each category, will consider all entries on their individual merits and allocate the Awards accordingly.
Further information:

Children's art competition

Why not have a go at our children’s art competition? This is a chance for children to win £1000 worth of leisure vouchers for themselves and their family.

There are two age groups (up to 11 and 12 – 16) so any household could submit more than one entry form and so increase the chances of winning.

All you have to do is use your imagination to create a drawing, painting, collage, cartoon or photograph (no computer generated images, please) that reflects the theme ‘The Environment and the Home’. Maybe you’ll draw a chimney with a bad cough! Or you could show a home which only uses energy from natural sources such as sunlight, wind or water… remember, the only limit is your imagination!

Seasonal awards

At four times during the year (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter) there will be awards to each of the two age groups. These winners will each receive £50 worth of leisure vouchers, plus one year’s family National Trust membership.

Environmental Image of the Year Award

The overall winner will be invited to a gala awards ceremony, where they will be presented with £1000 worth of leisure vouchers by our guest of honour.

So go for it and good luck – we look forward to seeing your artwork!

Self-build competition

The Self-build category of the Environment 2020 Awards seeks to encourage and reward energy-efficient installations of Worcester’s products. By sending in a completed entry form, you could be in with a chance of winning £1000 worth of leisure vouchers.

Install any new energy-efficient domestic central heating boiler or renewable product from Worcester’s range as part of your self-build project and you’ll be well on the way to satisfying the criteria of the Worcester Environment 2020 Awards.

You could choose an oil, gas or LPG condensing combi or regular boiler and you may be using your boiler in conjunction with a solar water heating system, ground source heat pump or air source heat pump in order to provide environmentally friendly energy for your home.

The judges will be looking for projects which are having the widest possible impact on the local environment.

Quarterly awards

Each quarter, the scheme considered to be the best from an environmental viewpoint will win a great prize – a Bosch domestic appliance worth up to £500!

Installation of the year award

The overall winner will be invited to a gala awards ceremony where they will be presented with £1,000 worth of leisure vouchers.
